*LEGO CREATORS* KG5 - 1ST and 2ND - 3RD GRADE

Are you ready to see your child's creativity shine? 

We will work with creativity, innovation, and solid programming knowledge for your little builder, through tablets, with our Lego Spike Essentials kits.

In LEGO Creators, children will enter the world of construction and programming by assembling robots through STEAM projects with the specialized LEGO Spike Essentials KIT.   🚀 We will help them understand how everything around them works while promoting teamwork. 

• Children will use the LEGO Spike Essential KIT to create robots and explore concepts of mechanism, electronics, and programming.

• They will learn through STEAM projects that will allow them to understand the environment that surrounds them in a practical and fun way.

• We will encourage collaborative work so that they acquire valuable skills while building and programming together.

• They will learn to follow assembly guides for creating their robots, developing attention to detail skills.

• They will understand basic programming, such as sequences and loops.

*ROBOTICS WITH LEGO* 4TH - 5TH GRADE

Introduce your child to the world of programming through his/her imagination! 

A practical and interactive experience to understand abstract concepts of construction and programming through the Mindstorms EV3 Lego Kit that allows programming movement in Legos from computers.

• INTRODUCTION TO ROBOTICS: Students will learn the basics of robotics from theory, including how robots work, how they communicate, and how they are programmed using their creativity using the components of the LEGO kit.

• PROJECT PREPARATION: Students will develop their robots, and learn about sensors, and motors, among others.

• PROGRAMMING: They will explore the programming software, writing codes to be able to control the robot they design and be able to solve the different challenges that we have prepared for them.

• FUTURE OF ROBOTICS: We will discuss topics related to robotics and how robots are changing our world. You will also learn about possible careers in robotics and technology that will be useful in the future.

*INTERACTIVE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE - AI* 4TH - 5TH GRADE

This engaging after-school course introduces students to the fascinating world of artificial intelligence—no prior coding experience needed! Using interactive tools like Teachable Machine and Scratch, students will learn how to train AI models to recognize gestures, sounds, poses, and more through hands-on activities with cameras and microphones. 

Grounded in a STEAM approach, the class encourages creativity and curiosity, allowing each student to experiment with their own AI projects while grasping important concepts such as training data, bias, pattern recognition, and common AI challenges. 

Each session is designed to be fun and educational, featuring activities like identifying drawn objects, controlling games with voice commands, and creating systems that respond to body movements. Students will also explore generative AI topics, including deepfakes and AI models that compose music or translate languages. 

Beyond learning, this course aims to inspire students to continue exploring technology and to build a foundation for future projects, such as developing video games with Scratch or designing apps with App Inventor.
