ACS Calvert offers a variety of clubs. Below is a list of student clubs our School sponsors.
National Honor Society (NHS)
NHS is a nationwide organization for high school students in the United States and outlying territories, which consists of many chapters in high schools. Selection is based on four criteria: scholarship (academic achievement), leadership, service, and character. To visit our chapter's site, click here.
Student Council (StuCo)
StuCo helps share students’ ideas, interests, and concerns with teachers and school principals. Some of the activities StuCo is involved with includes but is not limited to fundraising for school-wide activities, and community projects. To visit the organization's site, click here.
Global Issues Network (GIN)
Students from the ACS Global Issues group have the opportunity to get involved by partaking in regional and international conferences, sponsoring initiatives to raise global awareness among the students, and promoting fundraising activities for their GIN project which aims to develop solutions for global issues. More than 900 Operation Smile Student Clubs and associations at the elementary, middle, high school, and university level are actively involved around the world.
